peer support network
A peer support network is where people disabilities get together as equals to provide support to each other because of similar experiences or circumstances in life. Evidence shows that peer support can help people with disabilities feel more confident, knowledgeable, capable, and connected. This in turns empowers people to make their own choices and live their own life.
