About the event
Kathryn Albertson Park is a 41-acre special use park located near downtown Boise. A haven for wildlife and quiet contemplation, the park features wide, paved paths and outdoor gazebos in a beautiful natural setting. The most easily spotted birds are ducks, geese, songbirds and herons.
Check out the new boardwalk, landscaping and other updates in this urban park while looking for fall birds. We will be moving at a relaxed pace. Benches are placed throughout the park if needed.
We will be covering up to two miles on smooth paved and optional boardwalk surfaces. You are welcome to join us for all or part of the outing.
Recently reported species can be found here: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L212900
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Group size is limited to provide a quality experience for all. Please register online to reserve a spot before the event.
Meet in the parking area at 5:30pm. There are five handicap parking spaces, three are van accessible. Unisex restrooms or porta potties are available.
